David Broadbent is president of Space & C2 Systems within Raytheon Intelligence & Space, which provides space solutions for defense, government, intelligence and security customers. This portfolio includes subsidiaries Blue Canyon Technologies and SEAKR Engineering, leading providers of small satellites, spacecraft systems and space electronics.

Most recently, Broadbent was vice president and chief operating officer of for Space and C2 Systems where he was responsible for the strategic direction and operation of the business. Since joining Raytheon in 2001, Broadbent has held numerous challenging positions in contracts, supply chain, operations and quality management and business capture. Prior to joining Raytheon, Broadbent spent eight years with Vickers plc in the United Kingdom.

Broadbent is a certified member of the International Association of Contract and Commercial Management and participated in Raytheon Contracts Fellow and Raytheon’s Executive Leadership programs. He was appointed to the Board of Directors for Raytheon UK Limited in 2019 and RTX’s Global Diversity Council in April 2021. He earned a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Newcastle University, completed postgraduate studies in contract law at Northumbria University and is also a graduate of Harvard Business School’s executive course on negotiation strategy.
