
Amanda Sorensen
Vice President, Human Resources and Chief Human Resources Officer
Amanda Sorensen is the vice president of Human Resources and Chief Human Resources Officer for Raytheon Intelligence & Space, a business of Raytheon Technologies. She is responsible for leading all aspects of Human Resources strategy and business partnership, including the teams that lead talent acquisition, talent management, organizational effectiveness & change, talent analytics, total rewards, employee and labor relations, and diversity, equity and inclusion.
Prior to her current role, Sorensen was the executive director for Talent within RI&S HR with oversight of talent acquisition, talent management, organizational effectiveness, diversity, equity and inclusion, and talent planning and strategy.
Sorensen previously served as interim vice president of Human Resources and Security for former Raytheon Space and Airborne Systems where she also held various other Human Resources leadership roles. Prior to joining Raytheon, Sorensen was a senior director of Human Resources for Northrop Grumman’s Aerospace Systems and Corporate office.
Sorensen is a graduate of the Raytheon Accelerating Leadership Impact Program. She earned her Master of Business Administration from Claremont Graduate University and Bachelor of Arts in English from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona.
