Kim Binegar is vice president of Program Management Excellence for Raytheon Intelligence & Space, a business of Raytheon Technologies. She leads the Program Management Excellence mission area support, strategic initiatives, program planning, earned value compliance, and program manager development.
Binegar was previously vice president of Program Management Excellence at Raytheon Company’s Space and Airborne Systems business prior to Raytheon Company’s merger with United Technologies Corporation in 2020.
Prior to her current role, Binegar was a senior director on the Corporate Program Management Excellence team, reporting to the Corporate Program Management Excellence vice president of Raytheon Company. She was previously senior director of the B-2 and F/A-18 radar programs area of Space and Airborne Systems, in which she was responsible for managing development, production and sustainment efforts for the radars. Binegar has also been a director for several technology programs and worked in multiple program management roles with a development focus.
She received the Raytheon Program Leadership award in 2010 and led her team to achieve CMMI Level 5 certification. Binegar earned a bachelor’s degree in computer science from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and a master’s degree in electrical engineering from the University of Iowa. She completed training in program management curricula at both Rockwell and Raytheon, and has her Level 1 program management certification.
